FREE Gardening Workshops to Celebrate and Remember the Commonwealth Games 2022

Birmingham once was the kingpin of the world for innovation and industry and once again all eyes are on the city for the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Roots to Fruit are installing some features within the St Thomas Church Peace Gardens as a memorial for the games.

We need your help to grow plants from around the globe and build features to be installed within the park. Therefore we are putting on some FREE practical master classes around seed sowing, growing plants and building mosaics at our centre based at Oakdene Nurseries (51 Chester Rd Streetly B742HH).

Paul Ensell will be sharing over 55 years of experience to reveal his top tips on plant production. You will also have the opportunity to design and build a permanent feature for the garden by helping to construct a mosaic remembrance slab for the garden.
