Adrian and John, both plot holders on our site, gave me a tip to try to deter the squirrels from getting to the sweet corn before I do. The tip was to cover each cob with a sock!

Well, on Friday I discovered one cob had been chewed so I decided to try out the idea. I only had one pair of socks so I improvised with gloves. What do you think? It probably means the sun can’t get to them but when I am on site I’ll remove them to give them a breath of fresh air.
