Just because it’s July, that doesn’t mean that the sowing season is over.

Huw Richards suggests the following 10 crops to sow now for an Autumn harvest.

1. Kohl Rabi
2. Beetroot
3. Fennel
4. Swiss Chard
5. Kale
6. Winter Radish
7. Annual Herbs eg Confetti Coriander, Parsley and Dill
8. Salad Crops such as Lettuce and Spinach
9. Turnips
10. Potatoes- Blight resistant varieties such as Sarpa Mira

You can sow these direct but you find it more convenient to start them off in a module seed tray and transplant once they’re established.
