Finally, the potatoes have appeared and you can see that most of the crops planted are beginning to thrive. The runner beans are climbing as are the peas and the french beans are growing well. We have created a herb section where the round stones are and although it’s difficult to see we have planted sage, chives and mint so far.

Our big issue is watering. Currently, we have to hike it from the kitchen area and then lift it up to the elevated garden. So, our next challenge is to get an outside tap fitted so that we can use a hose.
